Last year I scored some great weed in Montreal and when I asked was told that the strain was called "Jack-hair". This year while in Amsterdam I noticed an option on nearly every menu of the many smoking cafes that I toured, for Jack Herer brand bud. For those marijuana neophyte's I decided to Google the killer-bud brand name to learn more, and to provide information about this legendary pro-marijuana and hemp activist.
Jack Herer has an amazing background as a former politician who ran for President twice and founded the Grassroots Party. He's an author of 2 books, one of which was made into a documentary about his life and the first I'd seen and heard about was first published in 1985 and is called "The Emperor wears no clothes". Perhaps Jack Herer's greates claim to fame though; is that there is a strain of cannabis with his name that's available in at least 2 cities on seperate continents.
